Should we keep the modulo operator?
what is the cost of retaining it? it’s a commonly used operation with native CPU support in essentially every platform. doesn’t seem useful to remove.
There are only so many ascii symbols, and we may want to use percent for something else, so I’m trying to be conservative with the operators we dole out 
you can always use multiple-symbol glyphs
